what is Vintage

All objects produced 20 years before from the present moment are considered Vintage.

Therefore, the sale of items produced 20 years before the current time is accepted at the unquestionable judgment of VINTAG.

Selling on VINTAG is fun, easy, fast and 100% secure.

Placing an object for sale on VINTAG is free. Only when you sell the item you published will you pay a commission.

Make sure to sell an item that is included in the categories we report and that is Vintage or Iconic.

Who does not respect the rules of VINTAG does not respect other users who belong to the community. Any user can report to the VINTAG team who does not respect the rules. Anyone who does not respect the rules is notified and, in the event of behavior that does not comply with the rules that is repeated, VINTAG, at its unquestionable judgment, can decide to suspend or close the profile.

 

what it takes to sell

three things are essential to sell on VINTAG:

start selling

First of all you need to connect your Vintag profile to Paypal.

To ensure that your transactions are carried out in total safety, to counter scams and avoid disputes, Vintag temporarily withdraws 0.01 Euros (equal to 1 cent of Euros) when connecting your Vintag profile with Paypal.

In this way Vintag can verify that all profiles are real.

After the verification, it takes about 30 days, you will get the penny back.

Remember that if you disconnect Paypal from your profile, to reactivate it we will repeat the operation to guarantee your safety and the safety of other users.

Take 4 photos of the object you want to sell (Vintag recommends if possible to use natural light to give greater emphasis to the colors of what you want to sell).

Take pictures, trying to also take some details of the object

Find a nice title and write a description as detailed as possible with all the necessary information to make other users understand the beauty of your object (Vintag recommends: always specify if the object you are selling has defects. It is always better to be precise in the descriptions).

Choose the reference product category, the time of the object, fill in all the data (remember to specify the shipping) and put the right price.

Click on "sell", watch the preview and you're done!

If someone asks you for information, it is always better to be available to answer all the questions of the potential buyer.

 

Shipping fees

The Vintag Team as per regulation and in order to protect its users, whether they are sellers or buyers, carries out constant monitoring monitoring of the advertisements published in the app.

With regard to the "shipping cost" item, each seller must enter a price appropriate to what he is selling.

Vintag is vigilant in this regard to guarantee to those who buy that shipping costs are reasonably priced.

In the alternative, we remind you that Vintag does not apply shipping fees, helping to make sellers competitive.

Entering excessive shipping costs and not at the 'market price' easily found by a simple search on the web goes to disadvantage not only the buyer but Vintag srl.

For this reason, the Vintag Team can intervene to ask to change the shipping costs and, at its sole discretion, may also decide to remove the post in question.

How does the Vintag Team evaluate the shipping cost?

To evaluate the right shipping cost we rely on the prices indicated by the companies that offer shipping services (such as Italian Post and national couriers) and by averaging shipping costs that other sellers apply for similar items.

If you have sold the item you have put up for sale, log into your PayPal account, enter your profile and check if you have received the payment (www.paypal.com). Your earnings will be immediately displayed on the account. At this point you have to send the sold item.

Always remember that to take advantage of Paypal seller protection, you must always ship with a traceable method. Proof of delivery is necessary to be entitled to protection. It can be a paper or digital document issued by the shipping company indicating the shipping date, the recipient's address and the delivery date.

In the absence of proof of shipment you will not be protected as a seller in the event of a complaint from the buyer (www.paypal.com).

Proposing the payment or sale of an object outside of Vintag, in addition to not protecting the user, implies the immediate exclusion of the profile from the App.

Attempt to defraud Vintag users or Vintag itself.

In the aforementioned cases, Vintag determines the immediate exclusion of the profile from the app and reserves the right and the right to take action against those who have violated the regulation in a clear manner in order to recognize economic and moral damages.

Each user is invited to report this behavior which, in addition to being against the regulation, affects the whole community.

Publish items already sold on other platforms; put on sale at prices not suitable for the object or with high shipping costs compared to the real cost.

disputes

In the event of a dispute, Vintag reserves the right at its sole discretion to suspend the profile of the users involved. To protect all users and analyze the disputes with information, Vintag takes time to investigate and possibly resolve the problem. In closing and resolution of the dispute, Vintag can reopen the suspended profiles but also close them permanently.

We remind you that Vintag commissions are the lowest of all marketplaces.

Vintag retains commissions only to sellers and does not apply them to shipments.

The payment of the fee will be requested by Vintag to the seller who will have 7 days to pay. In case of non-payment within 7 days, Vintag will proceed to a recall / reminder blocking the profile until the balance has been paid.

At the end of the month Vintag srl will send regular invoices to the sellers.

 

In summary:

- for each sale from 0.01 euro to 299.99 euro, Vintag will ask who sold 8%;

- for each sale from 300 euros upwards the commission is 25 euros fixed (regardless of the value of the sale).

The commissions refer to each item sold, i.e. neither sales nor items for sale can be combined.

 

Commissions must be paid through the PayPal account that you have connected to Vintag.

The following are excluded: foodstuffs, drinks, weapons, drugs, drugs, animals and in any case all that is not included in the list of categories decided by Vintag.

You can decide whether to pay with PayPal by entering your email and password or pay with a credit / debit card by clicking on "pay by card".

With the aim of protecting users and its community, Vintag can act without the possibility of being contested and in an indisputable way.

In particular, it can remove an item for sale, suspend or delete a profile, resolve a dispute.

Each user has the right to contact Vintag to provide or request explanations regarding the decision made by writing to help@vintag.store

Writing to Vintag does not automatically mean that the decision is changed.

 

behavior not compliant with VINTAG regulation

Among the various reasons that determine an unquestionable decision are:

  • the object is not vintage

  • the object is not iconic

  • the item is counterfeit

  • the item is included in the list of items excluded from the sale

  • the post has defamatory and / or offensive content

  • the post promotes the sale outside Vintag

  • the seller's post or biography promotes another site, social profiles, marketplace or any other store besides Vintag

  • the profile and / or publications are false

and any other behavior that does not comply with this regulation

PLEASE NOTE that Vintag srl is not a buyer, producer and seller of the goods visible on the platform, purchased or sold through the Vintag marketplace.
Vintag srl is the owner / manager of the Vintag marketplace and only performs the function of facilitating the relationships between sellers and buyers.
The vendors operate independently and all information entered in the app regarding the products and the particular conditions of sale fall under their exclusive responsibility. Any liability for the owner / manager of the marketpalce for the unavailability or non-compliance of the products ordered, the quantity of the products requested, delays in deliveries and any other discrepancies from what is declared by the seller in the app is excluded. The owner / operator of the site is never directly responsible for any damage to things or people due to defects in production, storage and packaging of the product or in any case to the use of the same by buyers or final consumers.
Vintag srl however, putting its users first and considering them a resource to help in any way, provides an assistance service, for reporting any problems in the relationships between the users themselves (help@vintag.store).
Finally, it is specified that the rights provided by the Consumer Code are guaranteed to buyers, such as the right to exercise the right of withdrawal and the guarantee on defects and defects of the goods. By accepting these regulations, the seller assures Vintag srl that in the event of a sale, it will apply compliance with the minimum and essential guarantees established by law. VIntag srl specifies that in case of withdrawal, the buyer can ask for information, send communications or submit complaints by contacting the seller through the appropriate messaging system of the platform which the user can access through his personal account (the seller will respond via the same system). Pursuant to art. 52 of Legislative Decree 206/2005 as amended by Legislative Decree 21/2014 of the Consumer Code, the user who has the quality of consumer has the right to withdraw from the product purchase contract, without having to provide any reason , within ten 14 working days from the day of receipt of the goods by the buyer. The right of withdrawal is exercised with the sending, within the deadline, of a communication - along the lines attached to the draft of the same Consumer Code (Annex I, Part B) - which must summarize the name of the applicant, description article, details to make the refund and which must be sent by e-mail to the seller's address (which was provided to him during the transaction by the payment system) and in any case it is possible to request through the appropriate messaging system of the platform to which the The user can log in through his personal account (the seller will reply via the same system). Vintag srl suggests to write also to help@vintag.store. The address to which to send the returned product may differ according to the seller and the buyer must request it from the seller who must communicate it once the above communication has been received. The costs and risks associated with returning the products will be borne by the buyer, who must send them safely with the necessary guarantees to ensure that the products arrive in perfect condition. The only costs payable by the buyer for exercising the right of withdrawal are the costs of shipping the goods to the seller. The return cannot take place in any case if the products supplied have clearly been used. The products must be returned with the appropriate protections, possibly in their original packaging, in perfect condition (not damaged or soiled), with all any accessories. In the event that the product for which the withdrawal was exercised has suffered a decrease in value resulting from a manipulation of the asset, the refund amount will be reduced by an amount equal to this decrease in value. The seller will notify the user of the circumstance and the consequent decreased refund amount, within 5 working days of receipt of the product. The right of withdrawal is not applicable for specially tailored products or in any case for which the customer has requested further customizations.
It should also be noted that the descriptions of the products offered on the platform are based on the information provided by the seller. Furthermore, the information provided on each product, as well as its photographs and videos, are published for orientation purposes only. Pursuant to articles 128 - 135 of the Consumer Code, each product bearing conformity defects enjoys the same conditions as provided for by the law of the right of withdrawal. In this case, the user must contact the seller through the platform's special messaging service. There is a lack of conformity, when the purchased good does not conform to the description made by the seller and does not possess the qualities of the good that the seller has presented to the consumer as a sample or model.
